Terms of Service
Last updated: 10/31/2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Billey (the "Service"), available at billey.lovable.app. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use Billey.
Use of the service
Billey is a free online invoice generator provided for personal and commercial use. You may create, preview, and download invoices as PDFs without registering an account. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it, attempt to disrupt it, or use it in a way that infringes the rights of others.
Provided "as is" — no warranties
Billey is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, reliability, or continuous availability. We do our best to keep the Service running correctly, but we do not guarantee that it will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of security vulnerabilities.
Your responsibility for accuracy and tax compliance
You are solely responsible for the content of every invoice you generate with Billey, including business names, client details, line items, prices, discounts, tax rates, and totals. You are also solely responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations that apply to your business and your invoices, including tax compliance, VAT/GST reporting, sales tax collection, bookkeeping, invoicing requirements, and record-keeping obligations in your jurisdiction.
Billey is a document-generation tool, not tax, legal, or accounting advice. If you are unsure about your obligations, consult a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
Your data
Invoice data you enter is stored locally in your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. You are responsible for downloading and safely archiving any invoices you need to keep. Clearing your browser storage will delete your saved drafts and history. See our Privacy Policy for more detail.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Billey, its creators, contributors, and hosting providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill, clients, contracts, data, or savings, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
You expressly agree that you use Billey at your own risk and that Billey is not liable for any business losses, missed payments, disputes with clients, fines, penalties, or tax consequences arising from invoices you create or send using the Service.
Third-party services
The Service may display advertisements and use analytics from third-party providers such as Google AdSense. Your interactions with those third parties are governed by their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content or practices.
Intellectual property
The Billey name, branding, website design, and code are owned by their respective rights holders. The invoices, logos, and content you generate with the Service belong to you, and you are responsible for ensuring you have the rights to any material you upload (such as a business logo).
Changes to the service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time; continued use of Billey after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
